Absolute Truth is what Science is about!

Subjective opinions is not scientific knowledge. Scientific knowledge explains objective reality, based on observed and or predicted phenomena. Also any explanation has to be verified time after time to confirm that it is correct.

Our knowledge to observe reality improves everyday, due to our ever advancing technology. Thus it only stands to reason, that we are able to increase our quality, as well as quantity of scientific observations. Because of this, much of our previous data is challenged. Some actually no longer fit the observed facts. So what do we have to do then? We have to come up with new theories, that will help us either verify or falsify our new observations.

As these new observations continue to change our scientific knowledge, we must remember that the absolute reality that we are striving for has not changed. How may we know this, our very own scientific methods draws us to an absolute reality, where our theories can be tested and verified.

With all of the previous paragraphs said, I am reminded of what Pontius Pilate asked Jesus Christ. “What is truth?” Christ had previously answered that question – “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free”.  He also said “I am the way, the truth, and the life.”
